Another year has passed. It’s hard to believe really. After all these years, I was afraid I’d start to run out of things to say. But that’s the thing about life, it keeps changing so drastically in the short amount of time we have. So much has happened in just a year. I’ve felt like I’ve gotten better. Better at being myself. I don’t feel as empty as I did before. I started to take better care of myself and it shows. And I have you to thank for it. Just the thought of how you’re looking down at me, or perhaps standing beside me, made me want to do better. It just felt disrespectful to waste my life when you were watching, having never been given the chance to experience it yourself. So I kept trying harder and harder. I hope I’m doing good by you. But that’s enough about me. It’s your birthday after all. There’s nothing else really to say that hasn’t already been said. However, as I said, life changes so much so fast.
